What is Coaching?

Coaching is a one-on-one, co-created partnership formed for the purpose of assisting the client with:

  •  Identifying dreams and goals
  •  Overcoming obstacles and challenges
  •  Achieving dramatic results
In other words, coaching is all about you: your dreams, your goals, your success, your happiness, your life. It is unlike any other relationship you’ve ever been in. The best way to understand coaching is to experience it, which is why I offer everyone a free, 30-minute telephone consultation. Contact me for your complimentary session--a thirty-minute phone call could change your life!

How Does Coaching Differ From Therapy?

Coaching is definitely not therapy. I am not a licensed therapist and I don’t attempt to provide diagnosis or treatment. I don’t have the answers for you—I believe that you are the expert when it comes to your own life. Together, we will find your answers so you can move forward.

Therapy helps you move from
victim to survivor.
Coaching helps you move from
survivor to thriver.

Are You Ready for Coaching?

  •  I feel like there should be more in my life,
even if I don’t know exactly what.
  •  I have a long-standing dream that I would like to
     make reality.
  •  I am ready to invest in myself.
  •  I just know that there is another way of being if
     only I could get there.
  •  I am tired of just settling.
  •  I yearn for meaning, balance, or purpose.

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the
power of coaching can help you to realize your dreams.

How old will you be when you
realize your dreams?
The same age you’ll be if you don’t.

Contact me to arrange for your free, no-obligation, 30-minute coaching session.
I want everyone to experience the amazing power of coaching for themselves.
Once you do, your life will change for the better.

After the storm,
the rainbow comes.

The Story of Iridescent Living

After the storms of life blow through, we are often left wondering about the meaning of our lives. The death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, even a close call with tragedy can give us pause—what are we really doing with our lives? What are our priorities? Can we do better? When we struggle with depression, all of these questions take on a deeper meaning.

These powerful questions motivate us to change. We are no longer willing to accept the status quo. Suddenly, the rainbow has appeared—a way of thinking and being that supports our deepest and highest selves. Iris was the ancient Greek goddess of the rainbow. She was a messenger goddess, carrying the wisdom of the heavens to the earth. From her name we get the word iridescent.

So it is that the storms of life enable us to experience the rainbow. Our experience with depression calls us to live another way--a nourishing, fulfilling, joyous life. We begin to manifest the wisdom Iris carries to us in our own lives. This is Iridescent Living—brilliant, lustrous, shining with the colours of the rainbow. Let me help you make it your life.

About Elizabeth J. Allen

I have experienced many storms in my life. I’ve come through depression, post-partum depression, divorce, and abuse and arrived at a place of tremendous joy and peace. And yes, I would go through it all again to get where I am now.

My amazing journey includes 3 1/2 years in residence at a Zen Buddhist monastery, where I took the vows of a novice monastic. Today, I live with my soul mate, Bryan, and our 2-year-old daughter, who is my greatest teacher yet.

Coaching is part of my spiritual practice. The courage and grace that people display every day continues to awe and humble me. I created Iridescent Living as right livilihood—my way of making a living that is in service to others.

What wisdom do you want to
manifest in your life?
Together, we can make it happen.
